About the Organization

The Action-Based Youth Advocates Network (ABYAN) is a dynamic, youth-led organization committed to empowering young people through meaningful action, leadership development, and community engagement. Established in San Enrique, Iloilo, ABYAN brings together student leaders, youth advocates, and young professionals aged 15 to 40 who share a common vision of building a more responsive, inclusive, and progressive society.

Grounded in the principles of service, unity, and accountability, the organization actively implements programs focused on education, health, environment, and civic participation. From community outreach initiatives and environmental campaigns to youth capacity-building and digital innovation projects, ABYAN continues to provide platforms where the youth can lead, serve, and create impact.

As a registered youth organization under the National Youth Commission through the Youth Organization Registration Program (YORP), ABYAN upholds strong organizational standards and actively collaborates with local government units, civil society organizations, and partner institutions.
